当資料は、地球温暖化対策などに関心があり、基本的な情報を得たいという方々のために、再生可能エネルギーの利用を進める際に理解しておくべき様々なキーワードをできるだけ平易に解説することを目的に作成したものです。SDGsやESGといった社会の動きから、FIP制度や証書制度といった制度まで幅広くカバーしており、各キーワードにつき1ページで図表を多く使って解説しています。 2021年3月に本資料の初版を公開し、その後制度改正などを反映して改訂を重ねてきましたが、今回は企業の方々だけでなく、地方自治体で新たに環境政策のご担当になられた職員の方々を読者として想定して、一部内容の見直しを行っております。

本分析では、日本を対象に、産業連関表等を用いてエネルギーサービス需要の変化を明示的に表現したうえでエネルギー需給を定量化し、シナリオ分析を行った。その結果、エネルギー供給側と需要側の対策を同時に進めることだけではなく、デジタル技術の活用やビジネスモデルの変化により労働生産性、資源生産性、暮らしの質を高めることで、日本の累積GHG排出量を1.5℃目標達成に資する水準に抑えた脱炭素社会を達成できる道筋を示した。
