SDGsの目標12・13・14・15・16の達成に向けて、国内外での取組とその現状と課題からアプローチし、気候変動をはじめ私たちが直面している持続不可能性に対して、市民性教育によって社会を変えるための行動や「誰一人取り残さない」参加に誘う方策を論考する。第1章では、つくる責任・つかう責任について、フェアトレードタウン運動を通した学びを実践例に考察する。
