本業務では、UNEP 国際資源パネル（IRP）、G7 資源効率性アライアンス・ワークショップ、OECD 資源生産性・廃棄物作業部会（WPRPW）等、資源循環に関する国際会合への参加に伴う調査・分析、支援、また、循環経済パートナーシップ（J4CE）事務局の運営支援、気候変動枠組み条約第29 回締約国会議（COP29）における日本環境省主催のサイドイベントの企画・運営、また、我が国および海外各国の循環経済に関する調査・検討などの支援を行った。

　本業務では、インド国内の気候変動対策の実施主体である民間企業・団体の JCM に関する期待と関心を高めることにより、JCM 締結に向けた後押し、機運の醸成につなげていくことを念頭に、JITMAP の枠組み等を有効活用して JCM 締結に前向きなインド政府関係者やインド国内の経済団体、民間企業にも参加してもらい、JCM 締結の期待値を高めるための日本・インド環境ビジネス促進セミナー「Exploring Collaboration Opportunities toward Decarbonized and Sustainable Society in India」」を現地にて開催した。

本業務では、G20 海洋プラスチックごみ対策実施枠組に基づく第６次報告書の作成やOsaka Blue Ocean Visionに関するウェブサイトにおける各国の海洋プラスチック対策に関する情報の発信、海洋プラスチック対策に関するウェビナーの開催等の国際連携支援を行った。

世界のトップレベルの研究機関や国際機関、産業界、NGO、政府関係者等を中心に、世界の有識者の参加を得て、地球環境問題を通じた持続可能な社会の構築についての意見交換を行う「ＧＥＡ国際会議」が令和６年10 月23 日（水）～24 日（木）に東京で開催されたことに伴い、その円滑な実施のためのサブスタンスに係る支援業務を行ったものに関する報告書である。 なお、本国際会議は、外務省、文部科学省、農林水産省、経済産業省、国土交通省、環境省及び地球環境行動会議（ＧＥＡ）との共催により開催する国際会議である。
