2020年11月23日から12月4日にかけて国連気候変動条約（UNFCCC）主催のClimate Dialogue2020が開催された。通常であれば、毎年この時期にはUNFCCC締約国会議（COP）が開催されるが、新型コロナウイルスの影響で翌年に延期とになったため、交渉を含まない形で、モメンタムの維持のため、本会議が開催された。IGES適応チームでは、本会合に参加し、IISDのデイリーレポート等を参考に、適応に関する議論について取りまとめた。
