本プレゼンテーションは2021年1月26日に開催された環境省及び一般社団法人海外環境協力センター（OECC）主催の「JCM×SDGsシンポジウム」での発表資料です。 JCMとSDGsの関連性と、パートナー国におけるJCMを通したSDGs達成への貢献の可能性について、3つのメッセージの形でまとめました。 ①JCMはSDGsの環境や経済目標だけでなく、社会的目標（目標２／目標３／目標４）にも貢献している。 ②プロジェクトの実施分野と導入技術により多様なSDGsへの貢献が可能になる（例：農業分野への太陽光発電技術の導入）。 ③JCMにはSDGsへの貢献の幅を広げるための可能性がある。

2019年から2020年にかけて、英国をはじめとして、ドイツ、フランス、EU、中国、日本、韓国などの世界の主要国において、2050年までに温室効果ガス(GHG)排出量を正味ゼロにする目標（以下、ネット・ゼロ）が相次いで打ち出された。さらに、米国の次期大統領であるバイデン氏は選挙期間中に発表した公約の中で、2050年までにGHG排出ネット・ゼロを実現すると表明している。今や、ネット・ゼロを達成した世界をいかに展望し、そこにどのような道筋で到達するかに真摯に取り組む時代に突入した。 このような中IGESでは、2020年6月に研究レポート「ネット・ゼロという世界-2050年日本-」を日本国内では先駆けて公表した。本レポートをもとに、日本とアジアのネット・ゼロの世界像について記述した。

FoEの若者向けセミナー「スクール・オブ・サステイナビリティ第４回暮らしのどんなところで気候変動につながっているの？」において、食生活と気候変動、特に食と森林減少を通じた気候変動についてわかりやすく解説した。
