「SDGs進捗レポート2023」ローンチイベント
IGESはグローバル・コンパクト・ネットワーク・ジャパン（GCNJ ）とともに、「SDGs実態調査 2022」を元に3月に「SDGs進捗レポート 2023」を発行しました。2030年SDG達成まで、残すところあと7年。GCNJ会員全体としての SDGs活動の進捗を測定するとともに、本調査を取り組みのガイドライン・チェックシートとして活用いただけるよう、5つのゴールを中心に専門家による調査結果の分析と考察をレポートにまとめました 。

各国の生物多様性計画の指針となる、国連の「生物多様性戦略計画2011-2020」および「愛知目標」が、2020年に新たな枠組に更新される。この新たな枠組は「ポスト2020生物多様性枠組と呼ばれ、同年10月に中国の昆明で開催される生物多様性条約第15回締約国会議（CBD-COP15）で審議、採択される予定だった。新型コロナウイルス感染拡大を受けた度重なる遅延の後、COP15の第1部は2021年10月11日から15日まで昆明において、ほぼオンラインで開催された。第2部は最終的に2022年12月7日から19日の間に、CBD事務局の本拠地であるカナダ・モントリオールで開催されることが決まり、ここで新枠組が採択される予定である。本稿ではその要点を概説した。

本フォーラムでは、「北摂里山地域循環共生圏」構想の概念や取組みの要点を地域住民に簡潔に共有し、目指すべき将来の地域社会像について率直な議論を交わしました。行政／研究機関／地域住民／食と地域活動／地域発電／地域ボランティア、それぞれの立場から、現場の責任者が意見を出し合って討論する場を設け、一般の市民、とりわけ将来の社会を担う世代がオンラインで議論に参加を促しビジョンを共有しました。
