This paper presents three initiatives by Japanese local governments that bring synergies to climate change, biodiversity, and the SDGs. These examples were shared with the world by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan at the High-Level Political Forum in 2023.

本ペーパーでは、日本の自治体による気候変動・生物多様性・ＳＤＧｓに相乗効果（シナジー）をもたらす取り組みを3つ紹介しています。これらの事例は2023年のハイレベル政治フォーラム（HLPF2023）にて、環境省によって世界に共有されました。

IGESは、2023年7月に国連ハイレベル政治フォーラム（HLPF）2023の開催期間中に国連本部で実施された第4回「パリ協定とSDGs のシナジー強化に関する国際会議」において、シナジーに関する日本国内の3つの事例をまとめた「 国内における気候変動・生物多様性・SDGsに相乗効果（シナジー）をもたらす取組事例」を公表した。 2024年4月から環境総合推進費「SDGs達成への変革のためのシナジー強化とトレードオフ解消に関する研究（1-2405）」が開始され、IGESもその一員としてシナジーのケーススタディ収集・分析を進めている。今回はその一環として、長く協力関係を続けているJICAの優良事例について、IGESが開発したシナジー分析のプロトタイプのフォーマットに合うように...
