「非効率石炭火力の段階的廃止」方針に対するコメント：方針はパリ協定と整合的ではなく、発電部門全体での排出ネットゼロ化を目指した措置が必要である。 第5次エネルギー基本計画及び長期戦略における、石炭火力発電のフェードアウトに関する記述に不正確なところがありました。お詫びして訂正いたします。

本報告書は、アジア太平洋地域ならびに5つの準地域における持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）進捗のトレンドとモニタリングのためのデータの入手可能性について分析し、2030年までのSDGs達成にあたり克服すべきギャップを評価している。本評価は、目標に向けた地域の行動を軌道に乗せ続け、諸問題が発生した場合には対処が確実に行われ、そしてすべての関係者が継続して関与することを目的としている。本報告書は、アジア太平洋地域において「持続可能な開発のための2030アジェンダ」の優先順位付け、計画、実施及びフォローアップに関わるすべてのステークホルダーにとって非常に有益な一冊である。

新「インフラシステム輸出戦略」骨子が策定された。その中で、相手国の脱炭素化に向けた戦略・政策の策定支援を通じた「脱炭素移行政策誘導型インフラ輸出支援」が基本方針として示され、新規の石炭火力輸出への公的支援を行わないという原則が明記された。この方向性は歓迎されるものの、現在進行形の石炭火力輸出への公的支援が継続される他、例外として認められる新規石炭火力の支援要件が、パリ協定とは整合しない形で運用される懸念が残る。要件の慎重な適用・運用が求められる。
