IGES は、各研究プロジェクトの説明責任を確保し、IGES 全体の事業効果をより高めるためのフィードバックを得るために、各戦略研究計画のフェーズ終了時に外部専門家によるレビューを実施してきた。 今回行ったIGES 外部レビューは、第5 期の研究やオペレーションが、当初の目標と目的をどの程度満たし、重要な政策プロセスにおいてどのような有意義なインパクトを形成したかを検証している。 第5 期で達成された実績と得られた教訓が第6 期（2013 年度-2015 年度）で計画されている研究やオペレーションに適切に組み込まれることも重要で、外部レビューによって第6 期統合的戦略研究の円滑な実施が促進されることが期待されている。 レビューは研究面と運営面の両方を対象としているが...
