２０１６年１２月１５日に開催された　第２２回日本ＬＣＡ学会・ＬＣＡ日本フォーラム共催講演会において、IGES SCPエリア・エリアリーダー堀田康彦が、「アジアにおけるＳＣＰに向けた国際連携」と題する講演を行った。これは、本年から開始された環境研究総合推進費・戦略的研究開発領域課題（Ｓ－１６）の成果などを活用したものである。

２０１６年１２月８日に開催された　東京都市大学／ＩＧＥＳ／ＳＰＥＥＤ研究会共催特別セミナー「持続可能な開発目標元年を振り返る」において、IGES SCPエリア・エリアリーダー堀田康彦が、「持続可能な消費と生産（ＳＣＰ）：持続可能な開発目標（ＳＤＧｓ）合意後の新たな政策動向」と題する講演を行った。これは、本年から開始された環境研究総合推進費・戦略的研究開発領域課題（Ｓ－１６）の成果などを活用したものである。

国際資源パネル（IRP）「Global Material Flows and Resource Productivity (Summary for Policy Makers）」の日本語翻訳版（暫定非公式訳）。天然資源の安価で公平かつ環境上持続可能な利用の確保に関する懸念の高まりに関する根拠は十分にある。この10 年間に世界の天然資源利用は加速化し、天然資源採取の増大に合わせ排出と廃棄物も増大している。天然資源利用の管理、および経済成長と天然資源利用のデカップリングは、国連持続可能な開発目標を達成する手段となる。この新しい報告書では、40 年間の世界の天然資源の動向を示し、証拠に基づく政策形成のための指標を提案している。提示したデータと指標は、世界7 地域とあらゆる国について...
