The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China issued guidance to promote the green transformation of agriculture and the revitalization of rural ecology, outlining policy goals up to 2030. These include expanding high-efficiency water-saving irrigation areas, reducing chemical fertilizer use, and increasing the coverage of green and integrated pest management for major crops. China is pursuing policies that balance strengthening food security with promoting green agriculture.
