地球・人間環境フォーラムの月刊環境情報誌、「グローバルネット」に地球環境戦略研究機関(IGES)北京事務所所長の小柳秀明が、中国の最新環境事情を現地滞在レポートとして偶数月で連載しています。

IGESは、一般社団法人日本経済団体連合会（経団連）との共同により、持続可能な開発のための世界経済人会議（WBCSD）作成の「人権に関するCEOガイド」の日本語翻訳版を発行しました。 本ガイドは、企業が人権問題に取り組むことの重要性やCEOのための行動のポイントを解説するものです。公害や気候変動問題に代表されるように、環境問題によって引き起こされる人権問題が多くあります。また、資源調達においては、児童労働や強制労働といった人権問題と森林破壊といった環境問題が同時に発生することも少なくありません。人権問題への対処および環境問題と人権問題の統合的解決に向け、ぜひ多くの企業の皆様に本ガイドを活用いただければ幸いです。
