This booklet aims to provide relevant information on Japanese low carbon technologies and services and the various mechanisms, schemes and initiatives for enhancing the transfer and diffusion of low carbon technologies in developing countries in the Asian region.
The booklet was commissioned by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ), as part of its initiative to promote the wider diffusion of Japanese low carbon technologies in eight Asian countries (Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Viet Nam) as well as support the operation of the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) in Asia.
