The EPR AMS Focal Point Workshop aims to serve as a platform for peer-to-peer knowledge exchange, fostering capacity building and regional collaboration. This workshop brought together participants to evaluate the merits and challenges of different EPR schemes—such as mandatory and voluntary—share experiences and best practices and discuss strategies to create an enabling environment for effective EPR systems that sustainably manage plastic waste across the region. It was co-organized by ERIA and GIZ.
Hotta and Chochoe made a presentation on EPR in the context of INC negotiation.
