GXグローバル　EU国境措置に対応：中国、水稲炭素排出基準

中国政府は2024年4月、「水稲カーボンフットプリントの評価基準に関するガイドライン」のパブリックコメント版を発表しました 。これは、EUの炭素国境調整制度の本格導入を見据え、国産水稲の炭素競争力を高めることを目的としています 。中国は世界最大の稲作国であり、水田からの温室効果ガス排出量の削減が課題となっています 。中国は独自のライフサイクル評価手法を開発し、カーボンフットプリント戦略を加速させています 。  

In April 2024, the Chinese government released the public comment version of the "Guidelines for the evaluation criteria of carbon footprint of paddy rice". This move aims to enhance the carbon competitiveness of domestic paddy rice in anticipation of the full implementation of the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. China is the world's largest rice producer, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from paddy fields is a challenge. China has developed its own life cycle assessment method and is accelerating its carbon footprint strategy.
