日中韓三カ国の環境大臣は「日中韓三カ国環境大臣会合（TEMM）」を1999年以来毎年開催し、この枠組みのなかで、北東アジアの環境管理において主導的な役割を果たすとともに、地球規模での環境改善に寄与することを目指している。本パンフレットは、TEMMの概要について分かりやすくとりまとめたものであり、TEMM開催の背景・概要、これまでのあゆみ、組織構成、9つの優先分野に基づく第2次環境協力に係る日中韓三カ国共同行動計画、行動計画リスト、TEMM18共同コミュニケ、といったTEMMに関する基本情報のほか、4つの主要なTEMMプロジェクト（大気汚染に関する日中韓政策対話、日中韓黄砂共同研究、日中韓環境ビジネス円卓会議、日中韓環境ユースフォーラム）の最新動向について紹介している。
