Eruboshi

Eruboshi

IGES was granted the Eruboshi Grade 2 certification by the Minster of Health, Labour and Welfare in December 2019.
The Eruboshi company certification is a recognition system established along with the enforcement of the Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace on 1 April, 2016. It has three grades which are determined based on a number of evaluation categories.

Kurumin

On March 30, 2020, IGES successfully obtained the Kurumin Certificate and has been updating its status ever since. Kurumin Certification, a system based on the Law for Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation (or the Next Generation Law), certifies companies as supportive of child-rearing if they meet specific requirements, such as formulating and implementing action plans for employees to balance work and child-rearing.

Eco Action21

Eco Action21

Eco Action21 certification was granted to IGES Headquarters on 26 March 2012, and to IGES satellite offices (Tokyo Office, IGES-Japanese Center for International Studies in Ecology (JISE), Kansai Research Centre, Kitakyushu Urban Centre) on 17-18 April 2013. All offices were granted certification having been evaluated on their daily environmental actions.
