IGES's Business Task Force conducts market and policy research both in Japan and abroad, examining business opportunities and risks driven by climate change as well as the relevance of corporate behaviour and corporate value in addressing long term decarbonisation. Based on this research, we also provide policy recommendations and support to Businesses and government. Among other things, the Task Force serves as the Secretariat of Japan Climate Leaders’ Partnership (JCLP), a coalition of 200+ companies, and encourages them to lead a positive momentum towards net-zero in business and to contribute to the progress of climate policies in Japan.
