地球・人間環境フォーラムの月刊環境情報誌、「グローバルネット」に地球環境戦略研究機関(IGES)北京事務所所長の小柳秀明が、中国の最新環境事情を偶数月で連載しています。

世界のトップレベルの研究機関や国際機関、産業界、NGO、政府関係者等を中心に、世界の有識者の参加を得て、地球環境問題を通じた持続可能な社会の構築についての意見交換を行う「ＧＥＡ国際会議」が令和６年10 月23 日（水）～24 日（木）に東京で開催されたことに伴い、その円滑な実施のためのサブスタンスに係る支援業務を行ったものに関する報告書である。 なお、本国際会議は、外務省、文部科学省、農林水産省、経済産業省、国土交通省、環境省及び地球環境行動会議（ＧＥＡ）との共催により開催する国際会議である。
