企業による環境に関する情報発信はますます盛んになっている。中でも、環境報告書という形で開示する企業が急速に増えている。環境報告書とは、環境に関する取り組み内容やその実績等をまとめて外部へ公表する文書である。当研究機関の調査では、東証1部1474社のうち284 社が2001年中に環境報告書を発行しており、未発行企業でも91社が作成予定と回答しており（2002年1月現在）、急速な勢いで環境情報開示ツールとして一般 化しつつある。 環境報告書には、消費や投資等における健やかに人間らしく暮していく視点に立った企業判断に不可欠なデータが記されている。これまでに、環境に熱心な企業を評価、選別 するための情報開示手段として、記載事項の内容の分析や、各社間での記載内容の比較可能性...
