Summary Findings of Waste Management Gaps and Challenges: National and City Level

This presentation, delivered at Myanmar's First National/City Workshops for Developing National/City Waste Management Strategies held 13-17 June, 2016, summarizes the main challenges identified by the country's quick study/baseline assessment with regard to waste management at the national and sub-national levels. Challenges are classified according to i) social/behavioural, ii) environmental, iii) economic and iv) institutional characteristics.
