東日本大震災による原子力発電所の事故の影響により、関西でも大幅な節電対策が求められています。また、冬場は暖房需要がピークを迎え、電力が逼迫する可能性が大きくなります。 シンポジウムでは、冬場の関西での電力需要と供給、家庭での節電方法についての最新情報の紹介、家庭での省エネルギーを目的としてIGESが開発した「うちエコ診断」と兵庫県での事業展開、及び具体的な節電方法を紹介し、冬場の家庭での節電・省エネルギー及び今後の省エネルギー対策について議論しました。
