Good Practices of Climate Change Adaptation in Developing Nations

This presentation delivered at "JICA Training Course on Adaptation for Climate Change, Ichigaya, Tokyo, Japan. 7th October 2009" outlines the need why developing countries need to adapt to climate change, need for identification of good practices, categories of good practices, different approaches to identify good practices, importance of community based adaptation, introduces the concept of proactive micro-adaptation, current efforts for identifying and disseminating good practices including UNFCCC good practices database, UNEP Global Adaptation Network, and their strengths and weaknesses.
