企業と環境プロジェクトは、IGES関西研究センターの第1期におけるプロジェクトとして、2001年より開始された。プロジェクトの目標は、企業の自主的な環境保全活動を促進するための具体的な手法の展開と、そのための社会経済システムを構想することである。企業の自主的な環境保全活動を促進する手段として、環境会計、環境情報開示、環境経営評価の3分野について研究を行い、下記のような成果を得た。 環境会計に関しては、環境報告書に掲載されている環境会計情報分析および2回にわたるアンケート調査の結果、日本の環境会計実務が外部情報開示目的に偏っており、内部管理の手段として十分に活用されていない現状が明らかになった。この限界を克服すべく、本プロジェクトでは...
