Governing Natural Resources for Climate Resilient Development

Climate change has complex impacts on natural resources in general and agriculture in particular. Hence, policies that address these impacts also need to be as broad-based and still be able to target location-specific conditions of these issues. It is a challenge but one can already find a range of policies and actions off-the-shelf that can be readily employed through necessary adjustments. This presentation talks about such policies including addressing perverse incentives, providing a buffer to shocks, building resilience through re-building ecosystems base, and improving consumer choices to ensure climate-informed decisions.
