The 12^th meeting of the IPBES Plenary (IPBES-12) was held in Manchester, UK, from 3–9 February 2026, preceded as usual by regional consultations and a Stakeholder Day on 2 February. The largest individual focus of the meeting was the consideration of the report of The Methodological Assessment of the Impact and Dependence of Business on Biodiversity and Nature's Contributions to People (Business and Biodiversity Assessment, for short). Two working groups were established for the meeting, one to discuss the assessment and the other to address all other agenda items.
