Needs for promotion of new city and business models for the carbon neutral and circular economy in Asia

Asia Smart City Conference 2025, organized by City of Yokohama in November 2025, organized a session on Mutual pitches between city and company representatives on urban issues and technological solutions.

This session shared the needs of Asian cities in addressing urban challenges, including rapid urbanization, population concentration in city centers, and the impacts of climate change. It will also present solutions and innovative ideas from Japanese companies to respond to these challenges.

Hotta from IGES made an opening keynote speech. Kataoka of IGES was a facilitator of the session.
