Asian Co-benefits Partnership: Supporting the Mainstreaming of Co-benefits into Development Policies and Project in Asia

Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Hunan Development and Reform Commission, China hosted the 2018 Asia-Pacific Forum on Low Carbon Technology and invited IGES as the discussant for the session on Perspectives from Global/Regional Alliances, Research and Advocacy Organizations on Coordinated Control and Management of Urban Carbon Emission Reduction and Air Pollution Prevention. IGES shared the implementing strategies that consider both air pollution control and GHG emission reduction, that is, co-benefits as well as the insights on the crucial elements needed to set-up the appropriate institutional arrangements and applicable mechanisms.
