Class 2, The Bali Action Plan; NAMAs and MRV; The Copenhagen Accord; International Consultation and Analysis, Unilateral, Supported and Credited NAMAs

This lecture part introduces the overview of the post-2012 climate negotaition under the UNFCCC focusing on mitigation since the adoption of the Bali Action Plan. The lecture reviews COP13 and onwards, and identifies improtant decisions and progresses made on mitigation including emergence of new concepts such as NAMA, MRV and ICA., while at the same time presents challenges and opportunities for materializing these concepts.
