地球環境を保全しつつ人類の抱える諸課題の解決を目指す上では、新たな国際的資金メカニズムが必要であると目されて、国際社会での議論が進んでいる。本稿は、この議論を概観することにより、本誌「環境研究」の本郷に収められた諸論考のより良き理解に貢献しようと編まれたものである。
