Insights of the Report
The Government of the Province of Córdoba is fully committed to the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development and its SDGs, and began its localisation process in 2018. The SDGs have become central to the political action of the provincial government. Thus, the provincial government is collaborating with municipalities and other stakeholders. The Province of Córdoba’s first VLR report includes current considerations aiming for a more sustainable future while recovering from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. It also reviews the alignment of existing policies with the SDGs and their motto of leaving no one behind. The VLR report further explores provincial governance and provides an assessment of progress toward the Goals.

Córdoba is a Spanish Province located in the north-central part of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, in the South of the Iberian Peninsula. The Province comprises 77 municipalities, of which Córdoba, the provincial capital, is the most populous with more than 325,000 inhabitants.
