Spatial Allocation of Greenhouses (Poly-Tunnels) and Total Agricultural Land Usages: A Case Study around the Periphery of University of Tsukuba

Poly-tunnels also known as greenhouses are used mostly by farmers to grow crops inside the poly-tunnels by maintaining heat especially in winter. The structure of poly-tunnels helps to warm plants, soil and other things inside faster than heat can escape from the poly-tunnels. Due to extreme cold weather, most of the places in around Tsukuba, the total area covered by the crops to the total farmland is less than the winter. The study will help to find the spatial allocation of poly-tunnels around the periphery of University of Tsukuba and its total area coverage to the total farm-land in winter.
