From 14 to 17 February, Economist Impact will host Sustainability Week Asia, held to aid businesses in Asia-Pacific in their path toward greater sustainability. On 14 February at 11:00-11:50 Japan Time (10:00 - 10:50 HKT), IGES Executive Director Yasuo Takahashi will speak at “Asia’s path to an equitable and sustainable post-pandemic recovery,” along with Mr. Airlangga Hartarto, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Indonesia and UNESCAP Executive Secretary Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana. They will discuss the impacts of the pandemic on the Asia-Pacific, their visions of post-pandemic recovery, the role of businesses in shaping a sustainable recovery, and other timely topics.
