2011年7月、財団法人地球環境戦略研究機関(IGES)は東日本大震災および福島第一原発事故後のエネルギー及び気候変動政策に関するアンケート調査を実施した。日本語と英語で調査票を世界各国に送付して総回答数710件を得た(回答者の内訳は日本人が61%で日本人以外が39%)。結果の概要は以下の通り。 日本における原子力発電およびエネルギー政策に関する質問では、49%が「1~2年以内」もしくは「2020年まで」に原子力発電所を操業停止して廃炉プロセスに入るべきと回答し、2050年までの段階的な廃止を含めると83%が日本における脱原発を支持した。原子力発電による電力供給量が減少した場合の対策として、90%が「再生可能エネルギーによる発電を増やす」を支持した(複数回答可)。「原発をやめるべきではない...
