本分析では、日本を対象に、産業連関表等を用いてエネルギーサービス需要の変化を明示的に表現したうえでエネルギー需給を定量化し、シナリオ分析を行った。その結果、エネルギー供給側と需要側の対策を同時に進めることだけではなく、デジタル技術の活用やビジネスモデルの変化により労働生産性、資源生産性、暮らしの質を高めることで、日本の累積GHG排出量を1.5℃目標達成に資する水準に抑えた脱炭素社会を達成できる道筋を示した。
