本報告書は、アジア太平洋地域ならびに5つの準地域における持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）進捗のトレンドとモニタリングのためのデータの入手可能性について分析し、2030年までのSDGs達成にあたり克服すべきギャップを評価している。本評価は、目標に向けた地域の行動を軌道に乗せ続け、諸問題が発生した場合には対処が確実に行われ、そしてすべての関係者が継続して関与することを目的としている。本報告書は、アジア太平洋地域において「持続可能な開発のための2030アジェンダ」の優先順位付け、計画、実施及びフォローアップに関わるすべてのステークホルダーにとって非常に有益な一冊である。
