Many parts of India will require data-driven analysis of the climate, air quality, health, and employment co-benefits of key sectoral interventions as they decarbonize. This research offers such an analysis for agrivoltaics—an intervention that co-locates agriculture with solar energy production on the same parcel of land—in India’s Nagpur...

Forest fires are integral to forest ecosystems as they influence nutrient cycling, plant regeneration, tree density, and biodiversity. However, human-induced climate change and activities have made forest fires more frequent, more intense, and more widespread, exacerbating their ecological and socioeconomic impact. Forest fires shape Tamil Nadu's...

Changes in land use over space and time are key drivers of water pollution. However, current studies on landuse–water-quality relationships in small watersheds are insufficient to support regional development. Comparative research across large-scale watersheds can better inform water environmental protection, yet such studies remain limited. This...

2025 International Conference on Marine Environmental Management
This presentation outlines an initiative applying behavioral insights (BI) to reduce single-use plastics (SUPs) across the Asia-Pacific region. Phase I (2022-2024) implemented pilot projects in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Departing from traditional "rational choice" theories, the project utilized the "Levers of Behaviour...
