In our presentation, we propose an approach to consider wellbeing of local communities who live closely to forests for climate change mitigation and adaptation. We discuss the approach by referring to an issue of energy scarcity in a community and REDD+ as a measure to address the issue.

持続的な森林・自然資源管理の推進に際して、国際開発業界では、社会林業、保護地域の協働管理、 REDD+ などの概念を示し、開発資金によって概念を現場適用すると共に、インパクトを環境的・経済的・社会的観点から研究してきた。一方、概念の現場適用を担うプロジェクトは、概念を運用する活動アプローチを開発・実践してきたが、この活動アプローチに関する研究が十分に行われ、実践にフィードバックしてきたとは言い難い。本プレゼンでは、実務家と研究者が連携し、現場における活動アプローチの論理を強化・方法論化し、発信していく作業について論じる。
