His research background is in administrative law (Japan, China, and Korea), and his key research areas are environmental policy (particularly air pollution countermeasures) and climate change countermeasures (decarbonized urban policies, long-term net-zero strategies, emissions trading schemes, etc.).
He began GIS research in 2019. From 2024 onwards, he will also be conducting research on tool development and database construction using AI.

「中国国家発展改革委員会は、2017年12月18日付で、国務院の認可を経た「全国炭素排出取引市場建設方案（発電部門）」（以下、方案）を通達し（発改気候規［2017］2191 号）公開しました。 この方案は、これから展開する全国国排出量取引制度（全国ETS）に関する史上初の国務院レベルの規則であり、中央と地方政府を含むほぼ全ての行政機関を拘束すると同時に、該当する企業や団体に対しても強制力があります。方案は、全国ETSの導入に関する基本原則と目標、取引制度の適用対象や排出枠・割当量の管理、パイロットETSの今後の扱いなどに関する基本事項を定めております。 これらの基本事項について整理した速報を公開しましたので、詳細は以下をご覧ください。
