本分析では、日本を対象に、産業連関表等を用いてエネルギーサービス需要の変化を明示的に表現したうえでエネルギー需給を定量化し、シナリオ分析を行った。その結果、エネルギー供給側と需要側の対策を同時に進めることだけではなく、デジタル技術の活用やビジネスモデルの変化により労働生産性、資源生産性、暮らしの質を高めることで、日本の累積GHG排出量を1.5℃目標達成に資する水準に抑えた脱炭素社会を達成できる道筋を示した。

昨年2月28日、浙江省・象山県地方政府が主催したブルーカーボンクレジット入札会が開催され、対象の2340トンのクレジットが１トンあたり１０６元（約２０００円）で落札された。全国20余りの企業・団体が70回以上の入札を行った結果、入札開始価格（30元/トン）の３倍以上の金額で取引されたことが話題を呼んだ。ブルーカーボンとは、浅海に生息する海草藻場、海藻藻場、湿地・干潟、マングローブ林などの海洋生態系に取り込まれた炭素のことで、中国政府はワカメ養殖や藻場再生事業などで実現できた追加吸収量をブルーカーボンクレジットとして認定、売買するための制度づくりを急いでいる。
