This workshop aimed to identify the status and needs of adaptation planning and climate change impact assessments at the national level.

最近、災害激化など地球温暖化の影響が顕在化しています。その対策として、CO2の排出削減と共に、悪影響に対する適応策が必要になっています。適応策には気候予測や影響評価などの複雑な科学技術情報が用いられるため、地方自治体などに対して適切な科学技術の提供が急がれていました。これに対して、平成22年度から26年度まで、文部科学省 「気候変動適応研究推進プログラム (RECCA) 」 と環境省戦略研究 S-8 「温暖化影響評価・適応政策に関する総合的研究」 が実施されました。そこで得られた知見を実際の適応策立案の現場で役立てるため、両プロジェクト共同で 「気候変動適応策のデザイン」 を刊行することとなりました。この本の監修は、RECCAのプロジェクト・ディレクターと S-8...
