タイ、インドネシア、ベトナム、フィリピンにおける住民による木材生産の状況を主に林業・農業統計データから概括した

■ 日本は現在でもインドネシア、マレーシア（主にサラワク州）からの主要な木材（主に合板）輸出先であり、その森林保全の重要なステークホルダーである。 ■ 合板の原料となる原木は、天然林択伐コンセッション、プランテーション開発に伴う皆伐、植林木、住民による木材生産、海外からの輸入などによって調達される。 ■ 近年インドネシアやサラワク州においても、天然林択伐コンセッションの持続可能な管理・森林認証取得を目指す政府・企業の取組が進展しており、日本からの積極的な関与・協力が望まれる。 ■ インドネシアやサラワク州の合板工場は様々なサプライヤーからの原木を受け入れ、その合法性確認などを行っているが、特に非認証材については、合法性証明以外にどのような書類（生産地の管理計画、EIAなど...
