The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) implemented the contracted programme to support the preparation and operation of the Asian Mayors' Policy Dialogue for the Promotion of Environmentally Sustainable Transport in Cities (for FY 2007), based on the results of the "Program to plan and coordinate the preparation of the International Conference on Environmentally Sustainable Transport by Asian Mayors (for FY 2006)". The work included: (1) Supporting contractor in the conference operation for corresponding and coordinating with the invited participants; (2) Operation of the Policy Dialogue webpage for publicity, continuing work from the previous year; (3) Continuous operation of the registration of general observers; (4) Support for the preparation of meeting documents; and (5) Support for the operation of the conference.
財団法人 地球環境戦略研究機関は、「平成１９年度アジアの市長による環境的に持続可能な交通に関する国際会議 準備・運営等支援業務」を請負い、「平成1８年度アジアの市長による環境的に持続可能な都市交通に関する国際会議in京都（仮称）の開催に向けた事前準備に関する企画調整業務」の結果を踏まえ、（１）国内外招聘者との連絡・調整等に関する会議運営請負者の業務支援、（２）本会議広報用ホームページの継続運営、（３）傍聴希望者申し込み窓口の継続運営、（４）会議資料の作成に関する支援業務、および（５）会議運営に関する支援業務を行った。
