This event was divided into two sections that reflect on what is needed to take an integrated and inclusive approaches to the SDGs in Asia and globally. The first section discussed a whole-of-Japan approach to the SDGs, emphasize the need for cooperation between national-level stakeholders, and also alignment between their actions and international initiatives. The second session offered a more focused discussion of how collaboration on air pollution and climate change co-benefits can resolve some the region’s most costly problems.
