The ASEAN Climate Change Strategic Action Plan 2025-2030 (ACCSAP) is expected to serve as a roadmap to accelerate the transition of ASEAN countries towards achieving the goals of their NDCs and long-term strategies and visions, consisting of mitigation and adaptation. In this seminar, the objective and potential contents of the ACCSAP were introduced, and then, ASEAN member states, other countries and youth -- who are the future leaders of society -- discussed priority actions and means of implementation to accelerate international collaboration and enhancement of enabling conditions related to finance, technology and capacity development in the ASEAN region. This dialogue was a catalyst for co-creation of the ASEAN’s climate change strategy, which is pivotal for the future of the ASEAN region and the world.
