Fostering partnerships and collaborations is crucial to expedite progress toward NetZero economies. The J-MENA GREEN initiative aims to concentrate on viable prospects such as technologies, incentives, policies, and networks within renewable energy, clean energy, and energy efficiency sectors in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

In this event, we will:

  • Identify solutions and resource gaps in the MENA Region toward NetZero Economies.
  • Share experiences and ideas on scaling up efforts and enhancing coordination between Japan and countries in the MENA region to facilitate the exchange of proven climate solutions and resources.

The goal is to introduce inventive business and partnership models tailored to capitalise on these opportunities, thereby accelerating sustainable investments in green projects aligned with the Paris Agreement and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

This session invites experts from government agencies, research institutions, financial institutions, and the private sector to seek their insights, guidance, and suggestions about fostering Japan-MENA's 'win-win' partnership towards NetZero Economies, including by launching a green business matching platform.
