Rohit RAMACHANDRAN

Dr. Ramachandran obtained his PhD from Graduate Program in Sustainability Science - Global Leadership Initiative (GPSS-GLI), The University of Tokyo, Japan where he studied the public support for tidal energy in a remote south-eastern Indonesian island. After joining IGES as a policy researcher in January 2023, he is currently working in collaboration with WorldFish, an international non-profit research organisation, to generate and analyse future scenarios to aid decision making and policy development for small scale coastal fisheries and aquaculture systems in developing countries. Additionally, he has experience of working in Japan and the United Kingdom in academia and local government respectively.
