Tetsuo KUYAMA

Mr. Kuyama obtained his Master degree from Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo in Japan on the development of virus assessment methodology for marine water. After serving as an engineer for the Nippon Koei Co., Ltd dealing with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for development projects in both Japan and developing countries, he joined the Freshwater Unit of IGES during the third strategic study period of IGES and has conducted research and projects mainly on wastewater management policies in the Asian region.  SInce 2018, he has workded for Bangkok Regional Centre of IGES as  the director, driving projects mainly with ASEAN; he has been in his current position since July 2023.
