Supanut Chotevitayatarakorn joins IGES as a Program Manager at the Paris Agreement Article 6 Implementation Partnership (A6IP) Center. Prior to this role, he served as a Legal Manager at Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), where he supported the Thai government in negotiating and concluding international carbon market cooperation and drafting regulations for carbon market operations in Thailand. He was also a member of the Thailand delegation to the UNFCCC negotiation process from COP 21 to COP 28.
At the A6IP Center, Supanut leads the development of capacity-building tools to assist countries in Article 6 implementation and supports capacity-building activities with focus on the Southeast Asia region.
He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Global Environment and Climate Change Law from the University of Edinburgh (2013-2014) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Chulalongkorn University (2009-2013).
