The 2nd World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF 2018) will be held at Pacifico Yokohama on 22-24 October, hosted by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan and the Finnish Innovation Fund, Sitra. IGES will participate as a key partner in this landmark event, which will bring together about 1,000 business leaders, policymakers and other related stakeholders from around the world to engage in international discussions on knowledge and best practices for circular economy solutions.
Topics will focus on trending issues including lifestyle changes, food recycling and plastic waste, examining how the circular economy can contribute to achieving a sustainable society. Participation at WCEF2018 is by invitation only, but live streaming will be available.
